Tomorrow is the big day and It is amazing. I still anticipate this day just like I did in when I started my spring adventures 2008. I am like a little kid who is going to Disney World. It takes every fiber in my body not to take off in February. Deep breathing exercises and vodka keep me calm until this day arrives.

I have to be in Ann Arbor, Michigan on May 11. A jazz musician friend is getting married at the Elks Club in Ann Arbor and all his jazz buddies should be there. "Ann Arbor's Elks Pratt Lodge is part of the national Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, a fraternal organization founded in 1899 by black men denied entry into existing fraternal groups." If I can stay awake past 10 pm this should be a fantastic and once in a lifetime event. Daniel has played his saxophone all over the world and with luck he will play it at his wedding. Not sure if Sara, his future wife, will be as excited as I am about the opportunity.
